Chasing Mist in the Western Ghats
The drive up started before sunrise — winding roads, headlights cutting through a wall of fog. By the time we reached the estate, the mist had settled low over the valley, and the tea bushes looked like waves frozen mid-motion.
I spent most of the morning just walking, camera in hand, waiting for gaps in the fog to let the light through. A few of these shots are now in the Nature gallery — particularly the wide shot of the valley with a single tree breaking through the mist.
What stays with me isn't just the photos, but the silence — no traffic, no phones ringing, just birdsong and the occasional rustle of leaves.
